Have you ever been confused about the difference between a reason code and a disposal code?
Disposal Codes
- A disposal code removes an animal from your active inventory and explains why the animal was removed from the herd.
Reason Codes
- A reason code applies only to females that miss calving but remain in the herd and must be recorded for THR. These reasons include aborted, exposed and failed to conceive, not exposed, moved calving season, or ET donor/recipient.
