Nominate a Red Angus Breeder/enthusiast for the 2025 Herdsman of the Year. The Herdsman of the Year Award honors individuals dedicated to the management, decision-making and improvement of a specific operation.
Eligible nominees/ranch/company must have had attended the National Red Angus Convention or shown in at least one of the following in 2025: Cattlemen’s Congress, National Western Stock Show, Iowa State Fair, KILE (Pennsylvania), American Royal, Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE, Billings, Montana), Western National Red Angus Show (Reno, Nevada), or North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE, Louisville, Kentucky).
Nominations are open Nov. 1-30, with one nomination accepted per ranch/breeder.
The top three nominees will be announced, and voting will open on Dec. 15. Voting closes Jan. 2, 2026, at noon CST. Only one vote per member number will be accepted. Submit your nominations here.
